A Living Heritage

Born in 1902 as the cutter Sirius, Galeotto II witnessed a century of changing times on Lake Garda.
In the early twentieth century, she was sailed with Archduke Franz Ferdinand, before being deliberately sunk during the First World War and later carefully brought back to life. In 1930, she led the lake’s first historic regatta. A tradition that lives on through the trophy that still bears her name. Restored with devotion, Galeotto II is now one of the oldest sailing vessels on Lake Garda, ready to welcome you aboard for a timeless journey.

Discover the beauty of Lake Garda from the water, where the westcoast reveals its timeless elegance.
Every Saturday afternoon, we invite you to join a gentle journey along the western shore, departing from Villa di Gargnano. Glide across the blue waters and admire historic lemon gardens, noble villas, and landscapes that have enchanted generations of travellers.

To explore the most hidden corners of this shoreline, the boat will mainly be powered by its motor rather than sailing, unless particularly favourable wind conditions allow us to sail. To ensure availability, we kindly ask you to reserve your place at least one day in advance.

Aboard Galeotto II, time follows your own rhythm. Escape for a few hours of complete privacy, celebrate a special occasion, or simply savour the pleasure of having no plans but your own. Swim in a hidden corner of the lake, lose yourself in the pages of a book while admiring the view, or enjoy an aperitivo as the sun gently transforms the colours of the water.
